I'm Jackie Machado, MD, FAAP

Pediatrician, Pediatric Critical Care Physician, and Founder of Grove Wellness Kids

I built Grove Wellness Kids because I believe children deserve more than symptom management.

My approach blends the rigor of conventional medicine with the depth of functional and integrative care, addressing root causes rather than isolated complaints, and supporting the whole child from infancy through adolescence. Every family who walks through our doors receives personalized, evidence-based care designed to optimize wellness and create lasting change.

This work is also deeply personal. As a Miami native, a mother, and a sibling to someone with autism and ADHD, I understand firsthand what it means to navigate a healthcare system that doesn't always have the answers families are looking for. My son was born prematurely — an experience that quietly shaped everything about how I practice medicine, and deepened my belief in the body's innate capacity for healing when given the right support.

Accessing the Patient Portal

After your child’s appointment, you’ll gain access to our Patient Portal, where you can:

Functional Lab Testing with Rupa Health

For children who may benefit from specialized lab testing, we partner with Rupa Health to offer comprehensive diagnostic evaluations. You’ll receive a link to order tests directly, with clear instructions for at-home collection or lab visits.

If supplements are recommended as part of your child’s wellness plan, we provide direct access to Fullscript, a trusted source for high-quality pediatric supplements. You’ll receive:
