Dr. Jackie Machado, physician

Led by a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric critical care physician, our practice employs a sophisticated, science-driven approach to pediatric health.

We identify and address the root causes of illness through advanced diagnostics and integrative therapies, combining the precision of conventional medicine with evidence-based natural solutions.

We go beyond symptom management, focusing on long-term wellness, preventive strategies, and holistic solutions to optimize your child’s health and development. This is personalized, whole-child care at its finest.

We provide expert care for children from infancy through adolescence — 6 months to 18 years — offering tailored solutions for every developmental stage, from neonatal challenges to the complexities of teenage wellness.

Our expertise spans a broad spectrum of pediatric conditions, including:

Digestive and gut health issues (reflux, constipation, bloating)

Allergic and atopic diseases (eczema, asthma)

Neurodevelopmental concerns (ADHD, anxiety)

Autoimmune conditions

Metabolic imbalances

Nutrient deficiencies and malabsorption

Immune system support and recurrent infections

Chronic fatigue and inflammation

Food sensitivities and metabolic concerns

Unlike conventional pediatrics, we leverage my dual board certifications in pediatrics and critical care to deliver an unparalleled depth of insight.

Our approach integrates advanced lab testing — such as comprehensive metabolic panels and genetic profiling — with child-centric therapies, minimizing reliance on pharmaceuticals in favor of targeted, natural interventions when appropriate.

As a concierge-style practice, we operate on a fee-for-service model to ensure unhurried, bespoke care. We do not directly bill insurance, preserving our ability to prioritize your child’s needs over restrictive protocols.

Detailed superbills are provided for potential reimbursement through your plan. Contact our office for our current fee structure.

Your child’s care begins with our Root to Rise™ Foundation Assessment — a comprehensive process designed to uncover root causes before we meet. After completing a detailed intake and submitting advanced functional lab testing, you’ll meet with Dr. Jackie Machado, a board-certified pediatric specialist, for a 90-minute review session.

Together, we’ll interpret your child’s personalized lab data through the lens of integrative pediatric care. You’ll receive a clear, customized roadmap based on the 5 Pillars of Whole Child Wellness, empowering your family with direction, insight, and next steps for healing and resilience.

After your child’s initial consultation and personalized care roadmap, follow-up visits are intentionally spaced to support sustainable progress and deeper healing. These sessions focus on implementing your child’s plan, adjusting protocols as needed, and tracking results across the 5 Pillars of Whole Child Wellness.

Most families continue with Dr. Jackie through a high-touch signature program The Whole Child Reset™ followed by ongoing Integrative or Functional Wellness Rooted Care™ Plans, which includes regular check-ins, curated supplement support, and access to specialty services tailored to your child’s evolving needs.

Yes. For families seeking flexibility and convenience in the State of Florida, we offer telehealth consultations for:

  • Lab result interpretation and follow-up discussions

  • Nutritional guidance and supplement adjustments

  • Lifestyle counseling and treatment plan modifications

While some services require an in-person visit, telehealth allows for seamless ongoing support, no matter where you are.

We offer elevated direct-access communication through our:

  • Secure patient portal – Ideal for messages, appointment scheduling, and lab result review

  • Email & text concierge service – For brief clarifications related to ongoing treatment plans

To maintain the highest level of care and attentiveness, we kindly ask that families allow up to 48 hours for responses during business hours.

Messages received after hours, on weekends, or holidays will be addressed on the next business day.

For urgent matters, we recommend contacting your child’s primary care physician or seeking emergency care as needed.

Absolutely. We seamlessly integrate with your child’s primary pediatrician or specialists, ensuring a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach to their health — one that respects your established relationships while elevating care through our advanced methodologies.

If you seek a concierge-level pediatric experience — rooted in advanced diagnostics, personalized nutrient therapies, and a proactive stance on wellness — our practice is designed for you.

Families who value expertise, innovation, and a partnership in optimizing their child’s potential will find us an exceptional fit.

We provide a nuanced, evidence-based perspective on immunizations, respecting your family’s preferences while equipping you with the latest data to make informed choices. Our focus is on individualized care, never dogma.

Due to the complexities and costs associated with vaccine storage and administration in boutique practices, we do not stock vaccines in our office.

We encourage families to obtain immunizations through their primary care pediatrician, local health department, or select retail pharmacies that offer pediatric vaccination services.

We specialize in state-of-the-art lab testing — such as micronutrient analysis, gut microbiome sequencing, and environmental toxin screening — paired with bespoke vitamin and nutrient protocols.

The tests provide a deeper clinical understanding of your child’s unique biochemistry and allow us to craft precision-driven interventions. The therapies are meticulously calibrated to restore balance and enhance your child’s health at a cellular level.

We contract with reputable and innovative lab partners that provide access to a wide range of functional and specialty lab tests.

This allows families to:

  • Order advanced lab testing for gut health, inflammation, hormones, food sensitivities, and more.

  • Have blood draws done at a local lab or via at-home test kits

  • Access a self-directed option for certain labs

While some routine labs may be covered through traditional providers, most advanced functional medicine panels (such as gut microbiome, organic acids, and micronutrient panels) are not eligible for insurance reimbursement.

We offer self-directed lab testing options for families who wish to pursue independent diagnostics without requiring a physician’s order.

Absolutely. We provide highly curated, pharmaceutical-grade supplements through our:

  • On-site dispensary, featuring hand-selected pediatric formulations

  • Fullscript online dispensary, for seamless ordering and home delivery

Every recommendation is customized to your child’s specific needs, ensuring purity, efficacy, and the highest safety standards.

Every intervention, including our child-centric vitamin and nutrient supplementation, is grounded in rigorous scientific evidence and tailored to your child’s physiology.

Administered under my expert oversight, these therapies are both safe and optimized for efficacy, offering a cutting-edge complement to traditional care.

Initiate your child’s journey with us by scheduling your assessment directly online through our self-directed booking option. If you prefer personalized assistance, you can contact us at 786-574-4014, hello@grovewellnesskids.com or submitting an inquiry via our Contact Page.
